"If you are losing faith in human nature, go out and watch a marathon" - Kathrine Switzer
We had prepared an entire blog on what it means to be a Philadelphia Runner. Then we reviewed these photos. Diversity. Encouragement. Love. Respect. Grit. Humility. Inspiration. Togetherness. We are speechless. Quite frankly, we're a bit choked up at the moment, so we'll let the pictures do all of the talking.

WAHOOO! IT IS FINALLY PHILADELPHIA MARATHON WEEK! Whoa. We're so excited. So excited, in fact, that we've put together a comprehensive list of events, after-parties, and cheer stations so you can have EVERYTHING you need to enjoy one hell of a great weekend.
Go ahead and have a look. We can't wait to see your thousands of wonderful faces on the course!
Say it with us. YAS YAS YAS YAS YAS YAS YAS HOODIES!
Let's be real, it's been a...tense...fall. We all need something to smile about, so we bumped up the release of our new Limited Edition RUN215 hoodies a few weeks!
These baddies were designed by Jon Lyons' younger brother on Bella+Canvas full-zip hoodies and printed locally at Awesome Dudes Printing! We wanted to give you something truly special to strut around town - a limited piece of Philly art - so we kept production to just 300 hoodies.
These are launching THIS SATURDAY at Philadelphia Runner (1601 Sansom St) until they're sold out, or until the Philadelphia Marathon Expo begins - whatever comes first. Swing by the store on Saturday after 10am for donuts, brews, high fives, and epic swag.
**BONUS - The first 100 people to grab theirs will go home with some custom art...
See you then!!

November is National Runner Safety Month - With the days getting shorter, and the weather getting colder, there are plenty of situations that could put runners at a big disadvantage when it comes to safety. Luckily, we've collected 10 safety to help you get the most out of your runs.
1. RUN LIKE YOU ARE INVISIBLE - In the age of smartphones, headphones, billboards, and every matter of distractions, always run as if nobody can see you. Simply assume that you are invisible to the world. It'll make your life so much better.
2. RUN AGAINST TRAFFIC - Give yourself the advantage by being able to react to oncoming traffic. They will also be able to see you approaching.
